Hotel Vellir Hafnarfjordur

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel near the airport in Iceland. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the airport, making it convenient for business travelers like myself. The modern and comfortable rooms were a delight, with soft beds and a clean bathroom. The friendly staff was always available to assist with any needs. The breakfast provided a delicious start to the day, with a range of cooked food, cereals, pastries, and fruit. the hotel offered a bar and lounge area, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The view from some of the rooms was incredible, showcasing the wide spaces of Iceland. it was a great experience.

As young families, we loved the easy access to free parking and the option for early check-in. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had great amenities like a gym and sports bar. The friendly staff and delicious food made our stay enjoyable.

The junior suite had a separate sitting area and a kettle. Comfy beds and a fabulous breakfast. Close to a 9 lane Olympic pool, children's pool, and hot tubs. Located 30 mins from Reykjavik, with 24/7 front desk and good WiFi. Friendly and helpful staff.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and check-in was a breeze. The room was clean and spacious, with a large shower/toilet room. I particularly loved the fact that my room had lots of windows, offering great views of the surroundings. The hotel's location just off the motorway made it really convenient, and it was also close to the airport. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from.

The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The staff are friendly, pleasant, and always ready to assist you during your stay. The basic amenities provided, including the clean rooms with a wonderful view and a little couch, make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I particularly loved the option of having a room with two twin beds and a bunk bed, perfect for families or groups of friends. The breakfast spread, apart from the waffle, had a good selection of choices to start your day off right.

Although the hotel menu had limited options, the food that was available was very tasty. The breakfast provided a good start to the day, ensuring we were well-fed before heading out to explore. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, ready to assist us with any questions or concerns we had. One minor issue we encountered was that our room was located above the gym, which resulted in some noise. However, this did not significantly affect our overall experience. In conclusion, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others looking for a clean and convenient accommodation option near downtown Reykjavik.
